Sticks to Anything

bibigo

Bibigo was launching its instant rice bowls in the U.S., creating an opportunity to turn one distinctive product truth—seriously sticky rice—into a memorable way to stand out in a crowded category.

BACKGROUND

Bibigo was launching its instant rice bowls in the U.S. In a category where one bowl of rice can look a lot like another, we had one very tangible product truth:

Bibigo rice is seriously sticky.

So instead of simply making that claim, we turned stickiness into our creative rule.

And AI gave us the freedom to make the impossible feel real.

SOLUTION

We used generative AI not simply as a production tool, but as part of the creative idea itself — allowing us to break the rules of reality and turn Sticks to Anything into a fantastical visual world.

We began by teasing America with giant balls of sticky rice hurtling through space like meteors, headed straight for Earth.

Then we brought the idea into the kitchen, where fluffy balls of rice stuck to walls as delicious ingredients flew through the air and stuck to them.

STICKS TO ANYTHING.

Next, we let the rice loose on America. Our giant rice balls crashed into Los Angeles, New York and Austin, rolling through the streets and collecting everything that made each city distinctive — from taco trucks and surfboards in L.A., to cabs, pizza and hot dogs in New York, to brisket, breakfast tacos, guitars and cowboy hats in Austin.

And we kept pushing the metaphor.

We transformed Bibigo rice into a giant Sticky Rice Roll — our version of duct tape — racing through the world, unfurling ribbons of fluffy rice before wrapping itself around delicious foods.

Each execution was wildly different, but every one proved the same product truth:

Bibigo rice sticks to anything.

AI allowed us to keep pushing that idea beyond what was physically possible — from outer space, to kitchens, to city streets, to rice that could behave like tape.

Together, a simple product truth and a new creative technology gave us permission to break reality.

One product benefit became a teaser, a product demonstration, a cultural storytelling device and an endlessly expandable creative platform.

BIBIGO.
STICKS TO ANYTHING.
